Sales Email - Gym


Black Lab Fitness wanted to get in touch with previous customers to see if they could entice them back with a reminder of what they were missing and an offer. I segmented their list of 500 ex-members and produced three emails targeting people who had:

  • tried a class but not come back

  • been a monthly-paying member but lapsed

  • registered online for a class but not acted

Warm and friendly in tone but with a subtle reminder of the prospects original commitment to their health, these emails were a great success.

Subject: We miss you – come back and see us for free!

Dear [NAME],

We understand that life gets busy. Family, work and holidays all make it difficult to commit to your health and fitness goals.  

Back in [MONTH], you took the first step to getting fitter and tried one of our classes, but we haven’t seen you since.   

So, we’re reaching out to you with five free sessions worth £25.  

Our friendly and experienced trainers are ready and waiting with:

  • constantly varied exercises so you’re never bored

  • functional fitness so you can take on whatever life throws at you

  • small class sizes and the trainer’s full support

  • a fun and friendly fitness community with events and socials
